Cimmi and Paul Cumes are the husband-and-wife co-founders of Cimmikids LLC, a company born in the charming beach town of Carpinteria, California.

Cimmi brings more than 20 years of experience designing joyful, innovative products for major global toy brands. Paul is a successful artist and oil painter with a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science. His deep passion for nature—especially the ocean—and his hands-on experience with conservation causes deeply influence every creation they bring to life.

Fueled by a lifelong love for the sea and a shared conviction that play can inspire real change, the couple is launching their first brand: Seaglimmers™ in Fall 2026. Seaglimmers is a sparkling, mermaid-inspired line that transforms fantasy play into meaningful ocean care.

Their dream is simple: to help the next generation fall in love with the sea—so they’ll protect it. Drawing on their combined expertise, artistry, and heartfelt commitment, Cimmi and Paul pour care into every detail, making ocean stewardship feel fun, accessible, and unforgettable.
